Question:

Is there a task that a leader is too important to do?

Personally, I think it largely depends on the context.
Sometimes, a leader needs to leave things alone and let their staff add the value they were hired to offer.

But there is NEVER a time we should think of ourselves as “above” a task.

Regardless of the scenario (whether we take on a task or leave it to others), it is incumbent upon us leaders to do it the best we can.
We don’t do the task because we “have to.”
We don’t avoid the task because we “don’t want to.”

In both cases, we SHOULD do it because it is the best thing we can do to serve the team we lead.

We ARE making an impact.
Every day, we are making a difference.

The ONLY question is, is the impact positive or negative?

Whether your leading a team or a company (or a family), this applies to all of us.
Whatever we do, we should be doing it to the best of our ability!
