Our choices determine our legacy.

Leaders make the tough choices, because they know that the choice they make today is a seed being sown into tomorrow!

Here is where we go wrong: Focusing on the WRONG choices!

We cannot choose what another person does.

We cannot choose what the economy does.

We cannot choose what our competition does.

We cannot choose what our family, friends, or enemies do.

BUT, we can choose what WE do, who we are, and what we believe in.

Stephen Covey calls the things that we CAN control our “Circle of influence”, while the things that are outside of that circle are our “Circle of concern.”

Within the circle of concern are things that are legitimately impactful to our lives. Family, friends, prices, laws, etc. But they are all other people, which we cannot control.
Within our circle of influence is…well US! It is OUR choices, actions, and attitude that we actually CAN control. And the more that we focus on these things, the more opportunity we have to speak into the other situations with clarity, and resonance.

Let’s make the CHOICE to be the best version of ourselves, today! Let’s win–competing only against ourselves! Let’s recognize that the power of choice is our divine essence. Let’s use it to the fullest!
