How’s your Vision?

How clear is the #vision of your organization? How easy is it to follow the #leadership?

I was recently returning to my hotel while in Boston, and captured this shot of my GPS screen. No, I wasn’t on a roller-coaster. I was just traveling the roads of the city and noticed how it wasn’t exactly straightforward.

As I completed my trip, I wondered if there might be a lesson in this image for us #leaders.

How easy is it to know where we are going?

How realistic is it for people to follow our path?

How much extra time and energy is required of our team to follow us?

These are just a few questions we might ask ourselves, as we look at this comical GPS route.

I hope we can all take a moment to ponder this idea. Even more, I hope our teams benefit from our ability to cast a clearer vision and set a straighter course, as we seek to serve our teams by leading well.
