What do you see?

This is an image I have posted before.

I am starting the week by posting it again because I need the reminder as much (or more) than anyone!

The longer one serves as a #leader, the more likely we are to think we are usually “right”. This is both to our own disadvantage as well as to the detriment of others on our #team, who may see things either differently or even more accurately than we do.

I don’t know who needs this reminder (other than me), but I do know it’s a good thing to remember…just because I am “right” doesn’t make the other person wrong–in fact, it doesn’t even mean that I know what I am talking about!

A good leader is more interested in being empathetic than being right.

A bad boss is more concerned with being right than what others might see.
