Broken Pencils

How many of us are more inclined to toss a broken pencil than to make use of it?
Broken pencils (much like broken people) still have a lot of value!

In fact, if we take this lesson a bit further, based on the image, after being broken, a pencil can write twice as much!

Whether we broke our own pencil or someone else did, being “broken” doesn’t have to be the end of the story.

We control our own narrative.

We have a choice about our future.

We have no excuses for not living up to our potential.

And, as leaders, we have no reason to write off those who are broken.
